Most recently, Ludmila is the host of the MENA region’s first legal podcast, LAWGICAL with LYLAW.  On the podcast, Ludmila provides insight, commentary, and updates covering a wide variety of legal topics relating to the U.A.E. and the MENA region.

Ludmila is also a regular commentator and contributor of legal articles to the local media outlets, including Zawya, The National, Arabian Business, Business 24/7, Gulf News, 7Days, Business Insight, etc.  Ludmila has been quoted as the regional legal expert by various international publications, including Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, New York Times, etc. and has appeared on BBC, CNC and ABC.

As a team, we also provide legal training, in the form of workshops and courses, to various branches of the U.A.E. government (Dubai Ruler’s Court and DMCC) and private businesses.  We also offer a dynamic internship program for the local youth and aspiring lawyers, giving them hands-on real life experience in the practice of law.

The Firm is managed by Ludmila Yamalova, a U.S. qualified attorney, who founded the practice in 2009, along with her German law partner, Harald Plewka. Ludmila has been consistently managing the practice, while actively practicing law, ever since.

The Firm and our individual lawyers are licensed to practice by the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department (Ruler’s Court).  We are also admitted to practice and hold relevant qualifications by the respective jurisdictions of our individual practitioners, ranging from the United States, Belgium, Germany, Lebanon and the Philippines.
