THE FIRM
LYLAW is a Dubai-based general practice law firm, advising individuals and corporations, on legal aspects of living and doing business in the U.A.E., with a practical approach. Our clients range from local and international individuals, to family offices, to start-ups and multinational corporation. The Firm has been actively practicing in Dubai, since 2009. And has been consistently and internationally recognized as a valuable contributor to the U.A.E. legal industry.

MANAGING PARTNER
The Firm’s founder and Managing Partner, Ludmila Yamalova is a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) attorney. She is licensed by the State Bar of California, United States of America (U.S.A.), since 2002. Ludmila has been actively practicing law for over 20 years, in the U.S.A. and the U.A.E. In Dubai, Ludmila is considered to be a reputed legal expert in the industry and is often quoted by mainstream national and international media.
LEGAL CONTRIBUTIONS
As a Firm, we are committed to raising awareness on pertinent legal issues in the U.A.E., through a variety of platforms. In addition to our robust private client practice, we have an active social media presence, through which we educate a broader audience.
Among other things, Ludmila hosts weekly Live Legal Q&A on Dubai’s prime radio station, Dubai Eye, FM103.8, dubaieye1038.com and on her own TikTok channel. Furthermore, the Firm is the founder and the host of the region’s first legal podcast – LAWGICAL with Ludmila Yamalova.
We also provide legal training to the various branches of the U.A.E. government, in the form of workshops, webinars, and courses.
The Firm also offers a dynamic internship program for aspiring legal practitioners, giving them hands-on real-life experience in the practice of law.
LICENSING/REGISTRATION
The Firm is licensed by the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department (Ruler’s Court) and is subject to the rules of the State Bar of California, as it is led by a California State Bar qualified attorney, Ludmila Yamalova. The Firm is registered and licensed by the Dubai Multi Commodity Center Authority (DMCC). It is also registered with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Courts.
